Only verified EU-HEM members can view approved member-only photos. This option requires verified sign-in and protected photo storage before it can open.

Consent before sharing

Contributions need the photographer's permission and the consent of identifiable people for the selected audience.

Permission before a wider audience

A member-only photo will require renewed permission before being changed to public visibility.

A clear removal route

Photographers and people shown will be able to request corrections or removal, with instructions alongside published albums.

Photo contributions will open only after the review process and the relevant storage protections are ready.

  1. Choose your own photograph.Contribute work you took yourself and have permission to share. Avoid images containing documents or unrelated personal information.
  2. Add useful context.Include a caption, preferred photographer credit, city, date and related event where applicable, plus a short accessible image description.
  3. Select the audience.Choose public or verified-members-only visibility and confirm the permission of identifiable people for that audience.
  4. Review before publication.The team will check permissions, captions and the selected audience before any image becomes visible.
