About your experience

Share only the context that helps someone understand your story. Leave optional details blank if you prefer. Do not include student IDs, private contact details of others, or sensitive personal information.

Your journey

Mark what has actually happened. Planned cities stay visible as plans and never count as lived experience.

Include only cities relevant to this story. At least one must be Completed or In progress.

The part worth passing on

Think about what you wish someone had told you before you reached this point.

Where can your experience help most?

Choose at least one topic. Add detail only where you have something concrete to share.

Preview & privacy

Review every answer and choose your publication preference. Sending requests private review; it does not publish your story or grant permission to publish it.

Your complete contribution must fit the inbox’s 5,000-character limit.

Private details stay out of the public preview.

A few things to know

Real perspectives.
Clear context.

Student stories complement official information; they do not replace it.

Where do the current stories come from?

The launch collection contains editorial summaries of interviews and testimonials already published by MCI Innsbruck and Erasmus University Rotterdam. Every overview links to the original university page.

Can current students contribute?

Yes. Current students, graduates and former students can share one city, one semester or their journey so far. Completed, in-progress and planned stages remain separate. You need one practical tip; other details are optional.

What do the illustrations represent?

The story covers are original editorial illustrations about learning, mobility, community and careers, in the same visual style as Announcements. The opening image is an AI-generated illustration of imagined scenery. These images are not photographs, literal route maps or portraits of the named contributors.

Can someone publish a story without publishing their profile?

Yes. A story contribution and a Student Directory profile are separate. You can request private review without creating a profile. Any public story would need a separate review and your approval of its wording and name display.

Does “no name” guarantee anonymity?

No. In a small international cohort, a very specific route or background can still identify someone. The preview therefore lets contributors hide optional cohort and background details too.

Can this form receive answers?

The form connects to the existing private Contact contribution inbox. It shows a reference only after the service confirms storage. If sending is unavailable or unconfirmed, your answers stay in the form so you can retry or download a draft. Draft saving alone is not a submission. For corrections or withdrawal requests, contact the Hub and include your reference.
